Newry Credit Union introduced its Money Management Service in response to the large numbers of Members who were approaching us with debts that they could no longer cope with.
Rita Copas, our Money Management Councillor can provide a range of assistance to Members dependent on their circumstances. Some Members simply require budgeting advice, whilst others may be in a position to consolidate their debts through Newry Credit Union. For others, Rita may be able to negotiate with Creditors on their behalf with the view to getting repayments re-scheduled or reduced.
