Local SRC (Newry Campus) Students are Recognised as Overall Best in the EDI/ JEB Certificate in Education Principles and Practice.

Newry Credit Union Limtied are delighted to congratulate two of SRC's students on winning the above award for most prestigious exemplar teaching materials and success in their exams.

Mrs Anne Lavery and Mrs Saidbe Mulligan both undertook the EDI/JEB Cert in Education Principles and Practice over one year within the College.  They studied seven units which were The Approach to Teaching, Principles of Learning and the Learning Process, Teaching Strategies and the Methods of Teaching, Assessment, Evaluate and Develop Own Practice, Classroom Management and Teaching Practice in the academic year of 2007-2008.  Anne and Saidbe also successfully completed the ICT Skills programme this year 2008-2009 which has qualified them to gain the full Diploma.

Anne is seen being congratulated for her much deserved recognition by her tutor Mrs Ciara Graham (Co-ordinator of the JEB programmes, Newry),  Head of Business and Financial Services, Mrs Marie Reilly, Margaret Moore (Tutor of ICT Skills) along with Kate Mulholland (Newry Credit Union Limited- sponsors of the programmes). Missing from the photograph is Mrs Saidbe Mulligan.
